Spray Nutraceuticals!
Filed under Spray VitaminsFeb 13Vitamins and minerals are nutrients that are essential to life. They are required in relatively small amounts, in contrast to the macronutrients like proteins, carbohydrates, and fats. In general, vitamins function as coenzymes, meaning that they work together with an enzyme in reactions occurring in the body. Every process taking place in our bodies is controlled by an enzyme. Without the participation of enzymes we could not live, and without vitamins the enzymes would be unable to function. The body relies upon a steady supply of vitamins and minerals to function at optimum levels. VitaMist® Spray Nutraceuticals provide the purest vitamins and minerals that you can buy. Each of our products has been carefully researched to provide a synergistic blend of nutrients that are easy and convenient for the user, as well as providing the advantage of rapid absorption. For more information: Visit: www.SprayNutrients.com or click the banner above.

Muscle Men (and Women!): How Vitamin Supplements Can Help You
Oral Nutrients presents the following article on how vitamin supplements can assist you with building muscles for both men and women!
There are so many benefits to getting a proper amount of nutrition that there is no way to list them all. For people who are working on building their muscles, there are certain things about vitamins and supplements that you should be aware of.
First of all, the best way to get your best nutrition is through eating the right diet. There are certain aspects of the vitamins and minerals that go along with food that just can’t be found in the supplements. It is always best to eat as well as you can. However, if for some reason you aren’t able to get all of the needed vitamins and minerals, it is better to have them via vitamin supplements than to have none at all.
For bodybuilders, it is important to remember that you are doing great work on your body, and this work is causing you to become stronger. However, as you increase in your ability to lift things and as you increase in the strength of your muscles, you are going to need more vitamins and minerals, as well as more energy, in order to use these enhanced muscles.
You should not start bodybuilding before you have talked to a doctor or a nutritionist about what you should do to make sure that your body can maintain the muscles that it has. If you are not able to consume enough of the foods that have the right vitamins, you are going to need to take supplements. This is because it is extremely important that you have enough of the right things if you are going to be bodybuilding. If you are building your muscles and not feeding your body properly, there is not going to be anything left over to keep you healthy as well as strong. Vitamins help to build you immune system, make hormones, and much more.
Many times it is a good idea to go on a general multivitamin if you are going to be working out and working hard on your body. This is a good idea because as you work out you are burning energy that your body would otherwise use to protect itself. Your immune system might be compromised as you work out, so you should try to do whatever you can to make sure that you are getting the correct vitamins and minerals that your immune system needs to function correctly. Do not be afraid to talk to your doctor about what you can do to make sure you are putting the right things into your body at all times.

Healthy Skin Needs The Nutrition Of Vitamins And Minerals

Oral Nutrients offers the following information on how to impact your skin health by using the right vitamin supplements. Your skin needs to be nurished inside AND out!
We all want to look our best. Healthy skin makes us look younger and makes us feel more beautiful. In addition to the cosmetic benefits of healthy skin there are other health benefits to consider. Our skin was designed to be a protective barrier to keep bacteria, viruses and other contaminants from entering the body. Eating healthy is a great start to keeping your skin healthy but adding vitamins and mineral supplements act as insurance.
Free-radical damage occurs in skin just like every other part of our bodies. Anti-oxidant vitamins, like vitamin A, C and E are essential in warding off this damage. One of the types of free radical damage is the
Anti-oxidant vitamins, like Vitamin A, Vitamin C and Vitamin E are important to healthy skin because it is these vitamins that share in the responsibility of controlling the damage that free radicals, byproducts of energy production within the body and of environmental contaminants, produce. Collagen and elastin, which are fibers that support the skin, are damaged by these free radicals. As these are this damage occurs, wrinkles and a lack of that youthful elasticity begin to take place. Vitamin C is essential in the production of collagen, making it necessary to the look of the skin and its function. Recent studies have even found that the combination of Vitamins C and E can be used to help repair sun-damaged skin.
Small deficiencies of vitamin A can affect skins health and beauty. In addition to its anti-oxidant properties, vitamin A helps eliminate dryness and flakiness to the skin. This dryness makes lines and wrinkles in skin even more apparent than skin that is hydrated.
Vitamin A’s main use though is as a topical treatment for the reduction of lines and wrinkles and it’s been found effective against severe acne. Recent studies have found skin treatments that include the combination of Vitamin A and C can in some cases reverse the damage caused by aging and the sun.
Vitamin B deficiencies can lead to cracking, bleeding and even skin legions. These legions can be dangerous because they can allow bacteria, viruses and other contaminants to enter the body through the skin. Even a little shortage of Vitamin B can leave skin looking scaly and badly textured. Creams made with vitamin B have been found to hydrated skin cells, leaving firmer, healthier looking skin.
If you’re plagued by dark circles under your eyes, vitamin K has been found to help. Some studies claim that creams made up of both Vitamin K and Vitamin A are more effective than those made with Vitamin K, but research is still being done on this combination.
The minerals Selenium, Copper and Zinc have also been found to improve the look and health of skin. Selenium can be used as a topical treatment or a dietary supplement in an effort to prevent skin cancer. While Zinc, copper and the addition of vitamin C work together to keep skin healthy and firm by forming elastin.
Used correctly by following standard guidelines, vitamins and minerals can be a great way to keep skin looking young and healthy. The key is to recognize that these are powerful substances and care should be taken to use the proper dosage. Not following guidelines could result in effects that can result in serious side effects. Used correctly though, vitamins and minerals can be a welcome addition to your beauty regime.By: Holly Dodd -

Multi-vitamin Supplements To Be At The Peak Of Health

Oral Nutrients offers the following information regarding how to be at the very peak of your health and wellness with the right Vitamin Supplements!
In the olden days, people got the essential vitamins and minerals that they needed from natural sources - the water, the sun, and unadulterated food that they ate. Vitamins and minerals are needed - perennially- whether it be by generations from the past, the present and the future. But in our present technology- driven, convenience-seeking society, where do we get the vitamins and minerals that we need? The food that we eat and the water that we drink are not as abundant in vitamins and minerals than they were in the good ol’ days. The food that we eat are basically chemical and preservative-ridden and they diminish the natural nutrition that we are supposed to get from them.
They may even gradually poison us. And the soil where our food is grown is not as rich as it used to be. Even the transportation of our food products deplete its vitamin and mineral content. One of the ultimate solutions then is to resort to vitamin supplements. The American Medical Association (AMA) advised all adults to take at least one multi-vitamin supplement a day which is contrary to their long standing anti-vitamin policy. This policy change was instigated by researches on the effects of vitamin supplements. Individuals who adequately take vitamin supplements were found to have lower risks of getting serious illnesses such as osteoporosis, heart disease and cancer.
Twenty years ago, the AMA advised only pregnant women and those who are chronically ill to take vitamin supplements. A decade or so ago, there is a barrage of vitamin supplements that have never been heard of. But now, it is common knowledge that vitamin supplements are essential. Like for instance, it is now not new to the majority that folic acid is necessary in preventing birth defects and heart disease. Certainly, folic acid was never heard of two or three decades ago. The way we eat also contributes to the degeneration of our vitamin and mineral intake. Eighty percent of Americans do not have a healthy diet such as the recommended five servings of vegetables and fruits a day according to the AMA.
This only proves how essential it is to take vitamin supplements to augment our need for essential nutrients. Doctors and scientists are aware of this fact. More research also indicate that the RDA for vitamins and minerals needs to be modified as they are not enough. According to nutrition experts, the RDA for vitamins and minerals are too low, a fact supported by Dr. Jeffrey Blumberg of the Human Nutrition Research and Aging in Tuft’s University. There is growing evidence that higher levels of many vitamins (whether from food or vitamin supplements) prevent vitamin-deficiency disorders and are necessary for optimum health.
Through our growing-up years, we had the common notion that having a reasonable diet would suffice for our vitamin and mineral requirements. But Dr. Robert Fletcher of Harvard University agrees that we need to take vitamin supplements to boost our body’s vitamin and mineral content. Fletcher adds that there is more evidence in researches that indicate that vitamins prevent the usual diseases that we cope with everyday, like birth defects, heart diseases, cancer and osteoporosis. But let us always consider the fact that vitamin supplements are ’supplements’ to our diet. A balanced diet is still recommended to lower risks of acquiring the chronic illnesses of our time.
Balanced diet is foremost, coupled with vitamin supplements. Both are necessary to be at the peak of our health.By: Dr. Rose Windale

Hair And Nail Vitamins - Be Amazing!
Filed under GeneralJan 27Hair And Nail Vitamins - Be Amazing!

Oral Nutrients presents the following information on vitamins and nutrients that are key for gorgeous hair and health nails.
Ironically enough, even though hair and nails are, in essence, dead cells, few things will show how vibrant and ALIVE you are than shiny, healthy hair and nails! And nothing will preserve and enhance the integrity of your hair and nails like vitamins and other nutritional components. When the right nutrition is present, you will sparkle. You will be amazing!
The most important hair and nail vitamins to consider are those which contain collagen, antioxidants, essential fatty acids, and natural, healthy oils.
For your hair, you want lots of A, B, C, and E vitamins.
Vitamin A produces healthy sebum, an oily substance secreted by the sebaceous glands in mammalian skin, giving us smooth, waterproof skin and hair. B Vitamins, namely B6 and B12 help to prevent graying and hair loss. Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant, destroying free radicals that would otherwise wreak havoc on your skin and hair, making way for perfect, natural growth and vibrant appearance. Vitamin E provides additional antioxidant support and improves overall scalp circulation.
Other important hair nutrients are: Biotin, Niacin, and Inositol, among others.
Now let’s discuss the "nail" portion of "hair and nail vitamins." It would be fair to say that healthy nails are a direct reflection of healthy skin. Again, vitamin E and other antioxidants are your champions, as are essential fatty acids, calcium, healthy oils, and magnesium.
In all reality, the bulk of your best hair and nail vitamins and minerals can be obtained through food consumption. Raw seeds and nuts provide calcium, oils, and high quality proteins. Antioxidants, including E and C vitamins are plentiful in citrus fruits and berries. Red grapes are antioxidant powerhouses! So are tomatoes. Fresh, cold-water fish, namely salmon will work wonders on your skin, hair, and nails.
Other foods that contain amazing quality hair and nail vitamins include avocados, cold-pressed oils (flax, olive, almond, pumpkin seed, etc.), bell peppers, green vegetables and grasses (wheatgrass, barley grass, etc.), and biotin-rich foods such as brewer’s yeast, brown rice, and soybeans.
Perhaps the most amazing food discovery in decades is the acai berry from the Amazonian rainforest. It is actually reported to have up to 33 times the antioxidant power of red grapes, ample amounts of beneficial fatty acids (aminos 3, 6, and 9), and metabolism enhancers which help you burn fat and regain a youthful appearance.
In addition to hair and nail vitamins, ample hydration is absolutely critical. If you can take down four to six liters of purified water on a daily basis, you will be blessed with radiant, glowing skin, hair, and nails. This will also flush dangerous toxins out of your body and dramatically improve your overall health.
While this dietary information is sound, the reality is that most of us will never eat the way that’s been described here. If you do, you will be blessed. You will be amazing! But whether you do or do not regularly consume all of the foods high in hair and nail vitamins, one thing that can change your life in a major way is supplementation.
A great whole-food (never synthetic) multivitamin will work miracles! You should also look for a natural hair, skin, and nail formula. These types of supplements will contain concentrated forms of many of the foods we’ve discussed, as well as many, many others.
Hair And Nail Vitamins Summary:Eat plenty of greens, raw seeds & nuts, avocados, bell peppers, cold-water fish, brown rice, soybeans (tofu is great), red grapes, tomatoes, and cold-pressed oils. Drink four to six liters of purified water daily. Supplement with whole-food multivitamins, as well as a natural hair and nail formulation. Use only natural creams, lotions, and shampoos, rich in skin, hair, and nail vitamins. Try the acai berry for enhanced benefits, including weight control and heightened energy.
Follow these steps and be transformed! Thank you for reading.

Vitamin D and Heart Health
Filed under GeneralJan 24I was watching The Today Show this morning and saw a segment on the connection between Vitamin D and Heart Health. Being that I have heart disease in my family, I wanted to do a bit more research.
Reuters reports that, "People with a deficiency in vitamin D may be at increased risk of heart and blood vessel disease, the authors of a new review of current research on vitamin D and cardiovascular health conclude."
Then, I read on a bit further…"Low levels of vitamin D have been linked to heart attack, heart failure, stroke, diabetes-related cardiovascular disease and peripheral arterial disease, the researchers report, adding that studies have also linked inadequate amounts of vitamin D to high blood pressure and diabetes." Yikes.
We all know that an ideal source for Vitamin D is the sun. As little as 20 minutes of sun exposure each day can help the average person boost their Vitamin D levels. However, not all of us live in climates in which we can get 20 minutes of sun every single day, and some of us have sun sensitivities or suffer/have suffered from skin cancer and avoid sun exposure.
Vitamin D supplementation is highly recommended. Even Reuters quotes Dr. John Lee of the Mid America Heart Institute and the University of Missouri in Kansas City ast stating, "vitamin D supplementation is simple, safe and inexpensive".
HERE IS YOUR "SIMPLE, SAFE AND INEXPENSIVE" ANSWER TO VITAMIN D SUPPLEMENTS:
VitaMist Spray Vitamins offers the easiest way to get your daily dose of Vitamin D! Spray vitamins are easy to take, are readily absorbed by your body, and are a fantastic way to keep your heart healthy! Click here for more information or to buy your VitaMist Vitamin D Spray Vitamins today!

Uses Of Minerals And Vitamins

These nutrients can be acquired from foods and from different supplements as well. It doesn’t matter that what option you are using as long as you keep on providing the sufficient amount of nutrients to your body. There are different nutrients that are essential for your body, but, minerals and vitamins occupy a special place.
Vitamins and minerals are momentous for the growth of your body. Actually, vitamins are chemical compounds, whereas, minerals are chemical elements. The basic function of vitamins is to control chemical reactions within the body. It also plays a role to convert food into energy which is essential for your body. On the other hand, minerals are required to perform several functions in your body. For instance, minerals are momentous to transmit nerve signals and to have strong bones. So, it can be said that your body will suffer in the absences of sufficient vitamins and minerals.
Before going into the details of different vitamins and minerals, it is imperative to mention about those vitamins that are produced within the body. Biotin, pantothenic acid and vitamin K are produced within your body. Apart from these vitamins, all other vitamins are supplied by you through foods and other supplements.
To keep your body fit, you will have to provide it with enough vitamins and minerals. For this, you must understand the role of different vitamins and minerals. For instance, vitamin A is necessary for eyesight, appetite and overall growth. This can be acquired from fish-liver oil, carrots, egg yolks, milk products, etc. Similarly, vitamin B1 is good for your nervous system, muscles, digestion and you can get it from liver, whole meat products, peanuts, milk, etc. Vitamin B12 is also quite important as it is required to make red blood cells and nerves.
In case of minerals, calcium is used for strong bones and teeth. It can be acquired from milk, yogurt, green leafy vegetables, etc. Iron is another important mineral which is used by your body to produce red blood cells, white blood cells and immune system. It means that it is extremely important for your body. Apart from these magnesium and zinc are the other mineral which are used by your body to keep you fit and healthy.
Deficiency of these minerals and vitamins can cause adverse effects on your health. For instance, you may feel tiredness and difficulty in concentrating because of insufficient iron. Similarly, teeth and bones will suffer in the absence of sufficient amount of calcium. Also, you will experience bleeding gums if there will not be enough vitamin C.
As a whole, it can easily be deduced that vitamins and minerals are extremely important for your health. However, you must understand that if there deficiency creates problem, then the excessiveness of different vitamins and minerals can also cause certain health issues. So, you must be absolutely sure about the amount that is required by your body to avoid any complications.By: Ranjith

Anti Aging Nutrition
Oral Nutrients and OralSprayVitamins.com offers the following article regarding anti-aging Nutrition.
Anti Aging Nutrition
Your body is your temple, and what you give it nutritionally can have a vast impact on your health. As the body ages, many changes take place, and by taking in the proper vitamins and minerals, you can minimize the negative health effects that you experience as you grow older. In this article, we’ll mention some of the important nutrients that one needs to intake as they age to help keep in proper health.
As you age, your body’s ability to properly process the vitamins that you eat decreases. For that reason, it is important to increase the amounts of vitamins that you intake. Since osteoporosis occurs in those of an older age, it is of the utmost importance to ensure that your body gets enough Vitamin D. While those in their twenties only need to take in 200 IUs of Vitamin D per day, those aged 60 and above are recommended to take in about 600 IUs. The B-Vitamin Complex is also an important vitamin that our body loses the ability to process over time. A lack of B vitamins can lead to a risk for heart disease and possible memory loss, and for that reason, those of an older age need to make sure that they get all the B vitamins that they can get. Calcium is also a particularly important nutrient when it comes to aging; along with Vitamin D, it helps the bones to mineralize properly, warding off the effects of osteoporosis.
When it comes to actual foods that you should eat to avoid aging significantly, a diet that is high in both fruits and vegetables is recommended. Those who indulge in these types of foods often are found to have lower rates of disease as well as higher levels of energy and a healthier appearance. There are many reasons that these types of foods are recommended; most fruits and vegetables have no cholesterol, fat, or sodium, which are three harmful compounds that have a negative effect on health. In addition to the lack of bad substances found in fruits and vegetables, they are also rich in the vitamins and minerals that your body needs. Practically every essential vitamin and mineral can be found throughout the fruit and vegetable world, and a minimum of five fruits and vegetables per day are recommended by the National Cancer Institute.
Anti-oxidants are also important when it comes to aging; this type of compound is useful in the way that it helps the body to protect itself against the harmful effects of free radicals, which are rogue cells that attack the cell membranes of your body, causing premature cell death. Many fruits and vegetables include anti-oxidants, including carrots and tomatoes.
Following these basic principles is a great way to get your health on track as you age, helping you to ensure that you will live a healthy life.
